Inner City Garden
The owners wanted an interior designer to make maximum use of a small inner-city side garden in Brisbane. The brief was to incorporate covered seating, barbeque and a vertical garden. It needed to be low maintenance to accomodate the family pets.
A bright colour pallete was used to add maximum impact in the small space, large round stepping stones enhance the retro feel while laser cut panels and wall lighting create interest and shadow play.
Lush turf and Eco wood were used to create an easy care and eco friendly space to relax and entertain.
The Design Process
The original garden made poor use of the available space , gravel and pavers were difficult to clean and maintain ,the air conditioning unit was right in the line of sight....
